Susan
Sto-Helit - Recently married to Uncle Belly, Susan is often seen wielding
a fearsome weapon (a poker) with which she beats unsuspecting bogey men
around the head. Susan has a black belt in accountancy and manages
to drag people down "The Albion" on a regular basis on leaving
the train. We usually meet "Uncle Belly" (though he's
not allowed to be called that any more, apparently) in "The Albion",
and sometimes Susan's father, Michael Sto-Helit turns up as well. Susan
is a founder member of the Coven End and is to be treated with great reverence
by all, especially due to her (other) nickname, "Scary". |

Granny
Weatherwax - Scarier than Susan, although you have to test it to prove
it, Granny is never happier than when she knows that she can go home and
relax with a nice cup of tea bottle of red wine. Granny
practices "headology" with a sideline in chiropractic and can
often be seen trying to show the "novices" the effectiveness of
"The Stare". "M" tried a "Stare"
last Christmas and Granny has only just stopped laughing. |

Cousin
It - Well I probably should have telegraphed this one better, but we
have our very own member of the Addams Family in the Coven end. Almost
more scary than the rest of them put together, Cousin It is particularly
fond of Captain Y-Fronts and often indulges in seemingly harmless banter
with him. There is currently some confusion as to where Cousin It lives,
where she's left her house keys and where her wardrobe is. |
 |
"R"
- Recently retired, "R" is a dedicated McEwans drinker. With
his bad back and new baby, his Lotus could have a limited parking space
life, I mean where do you put the child seat? As an IT expert,
he can often be found discussing hardware in the Coven, causing many a raised
eyebrow. His "dress down" day (currently day six hundred
and thirty-two consecutive "dress down" days!). |
 |
Hamish
- Our very own Lllama-loving lunatic is infamous for his Friday lunches
which tend to last for the whole afternoon. Hamish is quite clearly a complete
nutter and has an uncanny knack of getting both feet in his mouth at the
same time. |
 |
Shazam
- What can I say? Our very own "News of the Screws"
superstar. An occasional Wednesday visitor, Shazam has a strong
set of magic spells with which to protect the coven. If you ever
need to know the real stories behind some of the news items, Shazzer usually
has all the dirt. |
